Electronic Brake Control Module: Description and Operation

The anti-lock brake control module is connected to the DLC through the diagnostic data bus (ISO 9141 ), and additionally to the diagnostic data bus (Standard Corporate Protocol (SCP)) if the vehicle is fitted with the Traction Control System (TCS). The anti-lock brake control module controls the anti-lock braking and traction control functions through the brake circuits.
