Radiator: Service and Repair
RemovalAll Vehicles
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Drain the cooling system.
3. Disconnect the radiator upper coolant hose.
Vehicles With Automatic Transaxle
4. Disconnect the transaxle upper cooling line.
Vehicles With 2.5L Engine
5. Disconnect the coolant expansion tank hose.
All Vehicles
6. Remove the fan shroud nut.
7. Detach the fan shroud and secure to one side.
8. Raise and support the vehicle.
Vehicles With Air Conditioning
9. Secure the air conditioning condenser.
All Vehicles
10. Disconnect the radiator lower coolant hose.
11. Remove the radiator right hand bracket.
Vehicles With Automatic Transaxle
12. Disconnect the transaxle lower cooling line.
Vehicles With Air Conditioning
13. Detach the air conditioning condenser.
Vehicles With Automatic Transaxle
14. Detach the transaxle cooling lines.
All Vehicles
15. Remove the radiator left hand bracket and remove the radiator.
Installation
All Vehicles
1. To Install, reverse the removal procedure.

2. Fill the transaxle.
All Vehicles
3. Fill the cooling system.
