Brake Fluid Reservoir

Removal





1. CAUTION: If brake fluid is spilt on the paint work, the affected area must be immediately washed down with cold water.

NOTE: Make sure the filler cap does not become contaminated.

Remove the reservoir filler cap.
1 Disconnect the electrical connector.
2 Remove the cap.





2. Using a suitable suction device drain the reservoir.

Vehicles With Manual Transaxle





3. Disconnect the clutch master cylinder feed hose.

All Vehicles





4. Remove the brake fluid reservoir.
Detach the two retaining clips.
5. Remove and discard the O-ring seals.

Installation

NOTE: After installation, bleed the brake system.

1. NOTE: Install new O-ring seals.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
