Power Seat Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

WARNING: WAIT AT LEAST ONE MINUTE AFTER DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY CABLES, BEFORE DISCONNECTING THE ELECTRONIC AIR BAG CONTROL MODULE OR ANY OTHER SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS PROCEDURE MAY INCREASE THE POSSIBILITY OF ACCIDENTALLY DEPLOYING THE AIR BAG(S) AND CAUSE PERSONAL INJURY.

1. Remove the front seat assembly.






2. Detach the outer seat base cover.
1. Remove the retaining screws.
2. Release the retaining clip above the center retaining screw.
3. Release the front retaining clip.







3. Detach the wiring harness from the underside of the seat.







4. Disconnect the wiring harness.
^ Disconnect the electrical connector.







5. Remove the power seat control switch.
1. Using a trim tool, remove the control knobs.
2. Remove the two retaining screws from the back of the seat base cover.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
