Wiper Motor Linkage: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the windshield wiper pivot arms.
2. Raise and support the hood.







3. Remove the cowl top vent grille.
^ Remove the (A) five center cowl top vent grille retainers and screws, and the (B) two outer cowl top vent grille retainers, screws and washers.







4. Remove the pushpins from the LH air distribution flange baffle.







5. Remove the pushpins from the RH air distribution flange baffle.







6. Lift the clip up and off the windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft.







7. Slide the windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft off the windshield wiper motor.







8. Remove the windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft screws.







9. Remove the windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft by pulling out through the RH air distribution flange baffle opening.







INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure. If necessary, adjust the windshield wiper pivot arms and blades.
