Seat Belt Bolt Bit:

Special Service Tool(s)

REMOVAL
1. Remove the rear side seat.
2. Remove the luggage compartment cover.
3. Place the rear seat back in the down position.







4. Remove the seven pushpins and the luggage compartment rear cover.







5. Remove the pushpins and the quarter trim panel.







6. Use Safety Belt Bolt Bit to remove the rear safety belt lower anchor bolt.







7. Open the upper safety belt guide cover.







8. Use Safety Belt Bolt Bit to remove the rear safety belt upper guide bolt.







9. Remove the roof side inner rear moulding.







10. Remove both roof side rear trim covers.







11. Remove the bolts and the quarter trim panel bracket.







12. Remove the rear safety belt retractor bolts.

















INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE:
- Make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted prior to installation.
- Ensure that after the rear safety belt retractor is installed, the retractor is not stuck in the Automatic Locking Retractor (ALR) mode.
- Perform the Functional Test to ensure that the new retractor operates properly. Component Tests and General Diagnostics
