Seat Width

1. Measure the valve seat width. If necessary, grind the valve seat to specification.
2. Check that the finished valve seat contacts the approximate center of the valve face.
^ Coat the valve seat with Prussian Blue.
^ Set the valve in place.
^ Rotate the valve with light pressure.
^ Inspect the Prussian Blue transferred to the valve and grind the valve or valve seat as necessary.
