REMOVAL







1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.







2. Remove the LH and RH front door scuff plates.







3. Remove the LH and RH rear door scuff plates.







4. Remove the two pushpins from each cowl side trim panel and remove the panels.
5. Remove the front and rear seam welts.







6. Remove both roof side inner front mouldings.







7. Remove the upper safety belt guide bolt cover.







8. Remove the upper safety belt guide nut.







9. Remove the center body pillar inside lower finish panel.







10. Remove the center body pillar inside upper finish panel.
11. Remove the quarter window trim panel.







12. Remove the screws and the inside visors.







13. Remove the screws and the visor arm clips.







14. Remove the screws and the coat hook covers.
15. Remove the interior lamp.







16. Remove the pushpins from the roof headlining.







17. Remove the retainer clip located near the RH inside visor bracket.







18. Remove the pushpin located near the interior lamp.
19. Remove the roof headlining.

INSTALLATION







1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 mi) or more to relearn the strategy.
