Latch - Luggage Compartment Door
REMOVALNOTE: Coupe shown, Sedan similar.
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the luggage compartment latch cover bolt.
3. Remove the luggage compartment latch cover.
1 Remove the screw.
2 Remove the pin-type retainer.
3 Remove the luggage compartment latch cover.
4. Disconnect the luggage compartment door ajar switch.
1 Separate the luggage compartment door ajar switch electrical connector from the luggage compartment door.
2 Disconnect the electrical connector.
5. Disconnect the luggage compartment remote release motor.
1 Separate the luggage compartment remote release motor electrical connector from the luggage compartment door.
2 Disconnect the electrical connector.
6. Disconnect the luggage compartment lock actuator rod from the door lock joint.
7. Remove the luggage compartment door latch.
1 Remove the bolts.
2 Remove the luggage compartment door latch.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 miles) or more to relearn the strategy.
