Front Washer Pump and Seal Assembly

REMOVAL
1. Remove windshield washer reservoir assembly from the vehicle. Disconnect electrical connectors and hoses.
2. Using a small-blade screwdriver, pry out windshield washer pump. Do not damage plastic housing.
3. Remove one-piece windshield washer pump to reservoir seal and inspect for damage or debris.

INSTALLATION
1. Insert windshield washer pump to reservoir seal.
2. Lubricate inside diameter of windshield washer pump to reservoir seal with soapy solution and insert windshield washer pump into bottle pump cavity until it is firmly seated in seal.
3. Connect electrical connectors and hoses, and replace windshield washer reservoir assembly in vehicle.
4. Fill windshield washer reservoir slowly.

CAUTION: Do not operate windshield washer pump until fluid is added to windshield washer reservoir (otherwise air will be trapped in windshield washer reservoir, causing it to overflow).

5. Operate washer system. Check for leaks.
