Window Regulator Motor
REMOVAL
1. Raise window glass to full-up position if possible. If glass cannot be raised and is in a partially down or full-down position, it must be supported so that it will not fall into door well when removing window regulator electric drive.
2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Remove door trim panel and watershield. Disconnect window regulator electric drive harness connectors. Doors
4. Remove three window regulator electric drive mounting screws.
WARNING: IF THE FRONT DOOR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR COUNTERBALANCE SPRING MUST BE REMOVED OR REPLACED FOR ANY REASON, MAKE SURE THAT THE FRONT DOOR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR ARMS ARE IN A FIXED POSITION PRIOR TO REMOVAL TO PREVENT POSSIBLE INJURY DURING C-SPRING UNWIND.
5. Remove window regulator electric drive.
INSTALLATION
1. Position the window regulator electric drive to the power window regulator. Install the three screws snugly but do not tighten all the way.
2. Connect the window regulator electric drive wires at the connector and cycle the door window glass to make sure gear engagement. After the gears are engaged, tighten the three window regulator electric drive retaining screws to 6-10 N.m (54-88 Lb-In).
3. Connect battery ground cable.
4. Check power window for proper operation. Install door trim panel and watershield.
