Flex Plate: Service and Repair

Removal
1. Remove transaxle.

2. NOTE: Observe position of flywheel on crankshaft flange.

Remove the flywheel retaining bolts.
3. Remove flywheel from engine.

Installation
1. Position the flywheel on the crankshaft flange. Install and tighten the bolts in alternating sequence (across from each other) to 73-87 Nm (54-64 ft. lbs.)
2. Check the flywheel runout.
3. Install transaxle.
