Low and Intermediate Servo
Disassembly1. Remove spring retainer.
2. Remove low and intermediate servo spring.
3. Remove servo band piston and rod from servo cover.
Servo Band Piston:
4. Place servo band piston in soft jawed vise, pry off piston rod retaining clips and remove rod and servo piston spring.
5. Remove servo piston seal.
6. Remove servo piston cover seal and servo cover gasket from cover.
Assembly
1. Install front piston rod retaining clip on piston rod.
2. Install servo piston spring and servo band piston.
3. Compress assembly and install rear piston rod retaining clip.
4. Install servo piston seal.
5. Install servo piston cover seal and servo cover gasket.
6. Lubricate servo piston seals with petroleum jelly.
7. Install assembled piston components into servo cover.
8. Install piston return spring.
9. Install spring retainer onto low and intermediate servo spring.
