Daytime Running Lamp Control Unit: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
WARNING: DAYTIME RUNNING LAMPS CONTROL GETS VERY HOT DURING OPERATION. BE SURE DAYTIME RUNNING LAMPS CONTROL HAS COOLED BEFORE HANDLING IT OR PERSONAL INJURY MAY OCCUR.
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the lower radiator air deflector.
3. Disconnect Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) control electrical connector.
4. Remove screws retaining DRLs control to frame and remove DRLs control.
INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Tighten screw to 2-3 Nm (18-26 lb-in).
