Vacuum Reservoir HVAC: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Raise vehicle on hoist.
2. Remove RH front wheel and tire assembly.







3. Remove screw retaining two halves of front fender splash shield.
4. Remove three pushpins securing rear half of front fender splash shield to body.
5. Remove four screws securing rear half of front fender splash shield to front fender.
6. Remove rear half of front fender splash shield from vehicle.
7. Remove screw retaining A/C vacuum reservoir tank and bracket and slide reservoir down to release hook.







8. Disconnect vacuum hose from back of A/C vacuum reservoir tank and bracket and remove from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. Install vacuum hose on nipple on back of A/C vacuum reservoir tank and bracket.
2. Install A/C vacuum reservoir tank and bracket. Tighten retaining screw to 7.2-10.8 N.m (64-95 Lb-In).
3. Install rear half of front fender splash shield with four screws and three push pins. Tighten screws to 0.6-1.0 N.m (6-8 Lb-In).
4. Install RH front wheel and tire assembly. Tighten lug nuts to 115-142 N.m (85-104 Lb-Ft).
5. Lower vehicle.
