Parking Brake Cable: Adjustments

1. Make sure parking brake control is fully released.
2. Raise vehicle.
3. Using Rotunda Cable Tension Gauge 303-F064 (014-R1056) or equivalent, tighten adjusting nut against rear parking brake cable adjuster, until cable tension (with control released) is 15.8 - 20.8 Kg (34 - 46 lbs).
4. Stroke parking brake control fully and release.





5. Verify cable tension is still within specification and there is no drag on rear brakes.
6. Lower vehicle and check operation of parking brake.
