Sunroof / Moonroof Motor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery ground cable. Remove access cover from rear of roof trim panel.
2. Disconnect sliding roof panel motor electrical connectors.
3. Remove sliding roof panel motor and retaining screws. Remove sliding roof panel motor.

NOTE: Once sliding roof panel motor is removed, it must be synchronized (timed).

INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Tighten retaining screws to 4-6 Nm (36-53 lb-in).
