Power Door Lock Relay: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

NOTE: Replace damaged relay with the same part number and rating. Relays are installed in the power distribution box in the engine compartment and in the fuse junction panel in the passenger compartment.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Grasp inoperative relay and pull straight out of box.

INSTALLATION
1. Align blades of relay with socket and push in until relay is seated completely.
2. Restore vehicle.
3. Check operation of circuit controlled by relay.
