Front or Rear Door

REMOVAL
1. Position window glass in the up position.
2. Remove the front or rear door latch assembly.







3. Remove RH or LH door ajar switch from the door latch.







4. Using a flat-blade screwdriver, gently pry up the locking tab and slide the adjunct power door latch actuator off the door latch.

INSTALLATION

NOTE: The adjunct power door latch actuator must be installed BEFORE the door ajar switch is installed.







1. Engage one end of the adjunct power door latch actuator to the channel on the door latch.
2. Press down on actuator to engage the other end of the actuator to its channel on the door latch.
3. Slide the actuator onto the door latch, while making sure that the pin on the actuator engages through the yellow bushing on the arm of the latch properly, until actuator clicks into place.
4. Follow front or rear door latch removal procedure in reverse order. Tighten door latch retaining screws to 10-14 Nm (89-123 lb-in).
