Console Panel, Floor

REMOVAL







1. Remove beverage holder by carefully unsnapping front portion using a flat-blade screwdriver. Grasp beverage holder and unsnap from console panel.
2. Open ash receptacle and move gearshift lever to 1 position.







3. Grasp console top panel and pull rearward to unsnap from console center finish panel. Remove electrical connectors from cigar lighter socket and retainer and lamp assembly.







4. Remove two screws retaining console finish panel to console panel and remove console finish panel.







5. Remove two screws retaining console panel to console center finish panel.







6. Pull two carpet-covered kick panels at lower front of console panel to disengage clips from bracket.







7. Remove four bolts retaining console panel to floor mounting bracket.







8. Remove two bolts retaining console panel to rear bracket.
9. Remove console panel from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Tighten side mounting bolts to 9-12 N.m (80-106 Lb-In).
3. Tighten top rear console finish panel retaining screws to 0.9-1.2 N.m (8-10 Lb-In).
