Fuel Door: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Open fuel tank filler door and remove filler cap. Cover filler pipe to prevent anything entering the fuel system.







2. Remove two screws retaining fuel tank filler door to the body.
3. Gently slide the fuel tank filler door loose by lifting up, then pushing down on the open fuel tank filler door.
4. Slide the fuel tank filler door rearward and remove it from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Tighten screws retaining fuel tank filler door to the body to 2.7-3.7 Nm (24-32 lb-in).
