CD Changer: Description and Operation

The optional digital audio compact disc player has the following features:
- 6-disc magazine.
- trunk mounted in sedan or rear quarter panel in station wagon.
- functions controlled through the integrated control panel via a Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) J1708-based Audio Control Protocol.
- integrated control panel displays disc and track number information.

Error Messages
The digital audio compact disc player has heat-protection circuitry to protect the laser diode. If the temperature of the digital audio compact disc player reaches 60°C (140°F), the heat detection circuit will shut off the player and "Too Hot" will appear in the display. When the temperature is within normal operating range the digital audio compact disc player will again be operational.
