Pinout Values and Diagnostic Parameters

To retrieve Parameter IDs (PIDs), follow these steps:
1. Connect the New Generation Star (NGS) Tester to the Data Link Connector (DLC).
2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
3. Select the MODEL YEAR and VEHICLE.
4. Select DIAGNOSTIC DATA LINK.
5. Select RCM (Restraint Control Module).
6. Select PID/DATA MONITOR AND RECORD.
7. Record all PIDs that are to he retrieved and press START. PIDs are continuously updated on the display.
