Valve Guide Seal: Service and Repair

Special Tools:

Removal
1. Remove the valve spring.





2. Using the special tools, remove the valve stem seal.
1 Install the special tool.
2 Install the special tool to remove the seal.

Installation

1. NOTE: Cover the valve collet groove on the valve stem with a protective sleeve.





Using the special tool, install the new valve stem seal.
- Remove the protective sleeve.
2. Install the valve spring.
