Disassembly

1. CAUTION: Use care when disassembling the synchronizer assembly. The detent balls are spring loaded and may be ejected from the assembly.





Disassemble the synchronizer.
1. Remove the synchronizer outer ring.
2. Remove the detent ball.
3. Remove the blocker bar.
4. Remove the compression spring.

Assembly





1. Assemble the synchronizer.
1. Install the compression spring.
2. Install the blocker ball.
3. Install the detent ball.
4. Install the synchronizer outer ring.
