Clutch System

The clutch transfers the engine torque to the transaxle.

The clutch consists of a clutch disc and a clutch pressure plate with a diaphragm spring, bolted to the flywheel.

When the clutch pedal is depressed, the torque from the engine to the transaxle is interrupted. When the clutch pedal is not depressed, the clutch is engaged. It is disengaged when the pedal is depressed.
