Throttle Cable/Linkage: Service and Repair

REMOVAL







1. Disconnect the accelerator assembly from the throttle body.
1 Remove the clip from the accelerator bracket and remove the accelerator cable assembly.
2 Disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle linkage.







2. Detach the accelerator cable from the spark plug cover.







3. Disconnect accelerator cable from the pedal.







4. Release the cable housing from the bulkhead and remove the cable assembly.

NOTE: Attach a feed line to the cable to aid assembly.

INSTALLATION
1. To install reverse the removal procedure.
