Communication Circuit Wiring Repair - Non Module
1. Remove the insulation from the two wire ends.
2. Slide a piece of heatshrink sleeving over one of the wire ends.
3. Insert the stripped ends (1) in the crimp connector(2).
4. Make the connection with the crimping tool.
NOTE: When crimping a connector, make sure that the connector is the correct diameter for the wire and that a matching crimping tool is used. After crimping, test the joint by taking one wire in each hand and pulling.
5. Slide the heatshrink sleeving over the connection and heat it with a hot air blower until the sleeving fits closely around the connection and wax is coming out at both ends.
NOTE: Choose the length of the heatshrink sleeving so that it extends over the cable insulation by about 15 mm on both sides.
