Headlamp: Adjustments

ALIGNMENT

NOTE: All adjustments should be made with headlamps off and at room temperature.

1. Prepare the vehicle for headlamp adjustment. Place the vehicle on a level surface.
^ Before aligning the headlamps, check them for faulty lenses, reflectors and blackened bulbs, and install new components as necessary.
^ Check the tire pressures and correct as necessary.
^ The vehicle must be unloaded with the exception of a tool kit and spare tire. The fuel tank should be half full.
^ Bounce the vehicle several times both front and rear or roll it a few meters so that the suspension settles.







2. Locate the headlight adjustment screws.
1. Vertical adjustment screw.
2. Horizontal adjustment screw.







3. Adjust the horizontal headlamp screw until the horizontal indicator aligns with the "0" reference mark.

4. Adjust the vertical headlamp screw until the bubble is centered.
