Radiator: Service and Repair
Removal1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Drain the cooling system.
3. Disconnect the fan resistor electrical connector.
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Disconnect the cooling fan electrical connectors.
6. Disconnect the ground cable.
Vehicles Fitted With A/C
7. Disconnect the A/C electrical connector.
8. Disconnect the A/C low pressure switch electrical connector.
All Vehicles
9. Unclip the cooling fan and fan resistor cables.
Vehicles Fitted With Automatic Transaxle
10. Disconnect the transaxle upper cooling line.
All Vehicles
11. Disconnect the radiator lower hose.
Vehicle Fitted With Automatic Transaxle
12. Disconnect the transaxle lower cooling line.
All Vehicles
13. Disconnect the radiator upper hose.
14. Raise and support the vehicle.
Vehicles Fitted With A/C
15. Secure the A/C condenser.
16. Remove the A/C condenser bolts.
- Remove the two bolts.
All Vehicles
17. Remove the radiator.
- Remove the four bolts.
- Remove the radiator.
Installation
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. Refill the cooling system.
