Radiator: Description and Operation
Aluminum Core, CrossflowThe radiator is of the tube and louvered fin core-type with the tubes arranged horizontally for crossflow of the coolant.
- Two tanks, one at each side of the radiator, provides uniform distribution of the coolant to the crossbow tubes.
- The radiator tank on the right-hand side side of the radiator contains a transmission oil cooler for the automatic transmission fluid (if equipped).
- The crossflow radiator has an aluminum core with nylon tanks.
