Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview
1. Verify the customer concern by operating the power seat(s).2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical and electrical damage.
VISUAL INSPECTION CHART
Mechanical
^ Damaged switch(es).
^ Seat tracks obstructed or damaged.
^ Damaged hose(s).
^ Damaged back pad.
Electrical
^ Fuse 28 (30 A).
^ Damaged wiring harness.
^ Loose or corroded connections.
^ Damaged motor(s).
^ Damaged adjusting pump.
NOTE: Make sure all electrical diagnoses in the pinpoint tests are carried out using a digital multimeter.
