Canister Purge Solenoid: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. Lower the EVAP canister with bracket assembly.
^ Remove the bolts.
^ Lower the EVAP canister with bracket assembly.
2. Disconnect the connector from the canister vent solenoid.
3. Remove the canister vent solenoid hose assembly from the canister vent solenoid.
4. Remove the canister vent solenoid.
INSTALLATION
NOTE: Lubricate all O-rings with ESE-M99B144-B Merpol or water.
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. Leak test the canister and bracket assembly.
3. Leak test the system.
4. Perform the Evaporative Emission Running Loss Monitor Repair Verification Drive Cycle.
