^ cratering-fatigue failure (A)
^ spot glazing-improper seating (B)
^ scratching-dirty (C)
^ base exposed-poor lubrication (D)
^ both edges worn-journal damaged (E)
^ one edge worn-journal tapered or bearing not seated (F)
