Radiator Hose: Service and Repair

Removal

CAUTION: Do not mix standard (green) coolant with Extended Life Coolant (orange).

1. Raise the vehicle.
2. Drain the coolant.





3. Remove the lower radiator hose from the radiator.





4. Remove the lower radiator hoses from the oil cooler; (with engine oil cooler).
5. Lower the vehicle.





6. Remove the lower radiator hose from the degas bottle.





7. Remove the lower radiator hose from the oil filter adapter assembly and remove the lower radiator hoses from the vehicle.

Installation

1. NOTE: Position clamps properly.

Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Fill the cooling system.
