End Play Check

Special Tools:

Check





1. Insert the special tools in the turbine.
2. Tighten the center collet of the special tool.





3. NOTE: The special tool must be between the ridges of the torque converter.

Attach the special tool 100-002 to the inserted special tool 307-071. Position the indicator button on the converter housing and set the dial face at zero.





4. Pull up the special tool 307-071 and observe the dial indicator reading.
5. If the end play exceeds specification, install a new the torque converter.
