Headlamp Switch: Description and Operation

The lamp switch has four settings:
^ Off.
^ Side lamps.
^ Headlamps.
^ Foglamps.

When the lamp switch is set to "side lamps", a voltage is supplied to the front and rear side lamps, as well as to the license plate lamp. The side lights for the left and right-hand sides are fused separately. The fuses are located in the CJB.

The fog lamps can be switched on by pulling the switch knob at all times. If the high beam relay is energized, the fog lamps are switched off by the released fog lamp relay.
