Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Drain the cooling system.







2. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.
1 Disconnect the intake air bypass hose.
2 Disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation hose.
3 Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.







3. Disconnect the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor electrical connector.







4. Remove the ECT sensor.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.







2. Fill the cooling system, as required.
