General System Diagnosis

NOTE: Severe distortion of the core tubes could cause leakage at the coupling connection; repair or install new as necessary.

1. Verify the customer concern by operating the system.
2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical or electrical damage.

VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

Mechanical
^ Vacuum hoses damaged
^ Vacuum control motor
^ Refrigerant (fill level, leakage)
^ Drive belt damaged

Electrical
^ Fuse(s)
^ Circuit faulty or damaged
^ Blower motor
^ Plug damaged or loose
^ A/C compressor
^ Cooling fan

3. If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step.
4. If the concern is not visually evident, verify the symptom and refer to the Symptom Chart. Symptom Chart(s)
