Front Door Window Glass: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the door trim panel.







3. Remove the watershield.

CAUTION: Do not touch the adhesive surface as re-bonding will be impaired. Do not attempt to peel the watershield from the door without cutting the Butyl.







4. Detach the window retaining bolts.
1 Loosen the front clamp bolt.
2 Remove the rear clamp bolt.

NOTE: Align the window bolts with the access holes.







5. Remove the door interior weatherstrip.

CAUTION: Do not bend or deform the weatherstrip.







6. Remove the glass.
1 Lift the glass.
2 Tip the glass forwards and remove the glass.

INSTALLATION







1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
