Leaks

ATF LEAK CHECK
1. Park the vehicle on a level surface.
2. Clean off and check all transaxle connectors.
3. Drain the ATF and refill the transaxle by pre-mixing the ATF with 164-R3706 Automatic Transmission Dye, at a ratio of 0.23 L (1.2 pint) to 2.5 ml (1/2 tsp).
4. Use UV Inspection Lamp to check for leaks around the:
- Oil pan to case gasket.
- Transaxle cooler inlet/outlet tubes and fittings.
- Transaxle connectors and sensors.
- Transaxle seals.
5. If there is any evidence of leaks, repair and replace the leaking gasket, seal, and/or component.
