Removal and Installation

REMOVAL
1. Raise and support the vehicle.





2. Remove the (A) lug nuts and the (B) wheel and tire assembly.





3. Remove the brake hose clip.





4. Remove the anti-lock brake sensor wiring harness bolt, if equipped.





5. Remove the two spring and shock assembly bolts from the front wheel knuckle.





6. Remove the four upper mounting bracket nuts and remove the spring and shock assembly.

INSTALLATION
NOTE: Ensure that an alignment is performed anytime the strut and spring assembly is removed or the front shock absorber mounting bracket bolts are loosened.














1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: New fasteners must be used when old fasteners are loosened and/or removed.
