Resistance/Continuity Tests-Solenoids

1. Set 88 Digital Multimeter on Ohms range.
2. Connect the positive (red) lead of 88 Digital Multimeter to the corresponding EEC-V 104-Pin Breakout Box pin of the appropriate solenoid.
3. Connect the negative (black) lead of 88 Digital Multimeter to breakout box pin 24, 51, 77, or 103 for chassis ground.

Solenoid Resistance:

4. Perform the following resistance measurements:
If the resistance is not as specified, refer to Pinpoint Test A (SS1, SS2, or SS3) or Pinpoint Test C (TCC) or Pinpoint Test E (EPC).
