Fuel Pump Control Unit: Description and Operation

The fuel pump driver module regulates the voltage to the fuel pump to achieve the proper fuel pressure.

The fuel pump drive module:
- receives a duty cycle signal from the powertrain control module.
- controls the fuel pump operation in relation to the duty cycle signal to compensate for varying loads.
- sends diagnostic information to the powertrain control module on the fuel pump monitor circuit.
