Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

1. Verify that the concern is with the Evaporative Emission (EVAP) canister or canister vent solenoid.
2. Inspect to determine if any of the following mechanical concerns apply:

Visual Inspection Chart

Mechanical
- Loose or disconnected components.
- Damaged EVAP canister or vent solenoid
