Fuel Gauge

Preliminary Setup
1. Disconnect the fuel level sensor and pump connector. Connect one lead of the tester to fuel level sensor and pump C315-3, circuit 161 (Y/BR), and the other lead to ground.







Check E (Empty) Indication
2. Set the tester to 22.4 ohms. Key ON. Wait one minute. The fuel gauge should indicate E (empty). Key OFF.







Check F (full) Indication
3. Set the tester to 145 ohms. Key ON. Wait one minute. The fuel gauge should indicate F (full). Key OFF. Return to the pinpoint test.
