Variable Induction Control Solenoid: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. With the lower intake manifold (IMRC) removed, disconnect the linkage rod from the IMRC levers and plastic bushings (if equipped).
2. Remove two bolts retaining the IMRC deactivation motor cable bracket to the IMRC housing assembly and remove bracket.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.

CAUTION: Do not adjust travel stop screw. Possible damage to the lower intake manifold may occur.

2. Tighten retaining bolts to 8-12 Nm (71-106 lb-in). Use new plastic bushings (if equipped).
