Canister Purge Control Valve: Service and Repair






REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the main emission vacuum control connector from the connector port on the Evaporative Emission canister purge valve (EVAP canister purge valve).
2. Disconnect the EVAP canister purge outlet tube and the evaporative emission return tube from the evaporative emission canister purge valve.
3. Disconnect the engine control sensor wiring from the evaporative emission canister purge valve.
4. Remove the nuts and the evaporative emission canister purge valve from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Tighten the evaporative emission canister purge valve retaining nuts 8-10 Nm (71-88 lb-in).
