General Inspection

1. Check the parking brake rear cable and conduit for damage and proper routing. If the parking brake rear cable and conduit is damaged, it must be replaced.
2. Operate the parking brake control and check for conditions that may cause binding, groaning, or an incomplete release of the parking brake.
3. Make sure the parking brake components are in good condition and all the cables and the cable housing clamps are lubricated and in good condition. Check the front parking brake cable and conduit adjustment.
