Roof Headlining

NOTE: The removal and installation procedures for roof trim panel generally apply to all models. If one or more of the steps do not apply, proceed to the next step.

Remove

1. Remove LH and RH inside visor retaining screws, disconnect electrical connectors (lighted vanity) and remove inside visor. Remove visor arm clip retaining screws and remove visor arm clip.
2. Remove courtesy lamp/map lamp.
3. Remove assist handles/coat hooks.
4. Remove weatherstrips at door openings above beltline. Remove moulding around roof panel if equipped.
5. Remove windshield side garnish moulding.
6. Remove center body pillar inside upper finish panel.
7. Remove LH and RH rear corner inner upper finish panel.
8. Remove LH and RH quarter trim panels.
9. Remove pushpins and roof trim panel.











Install

NOTE: Adhesive bead height must exceed 12.0 mm (0.47 inch) high. Roof trim must be installed within 10 minutes of adhesive application.

1. Apply Headliner Adhesive F1VY-19562-A meeting Ford specification WSB-M2G355-A to roof panel prior to installation.
2. Align roof trim panel at front of vehicle over inside visor mounting holes and secure.
3. Install sliding roof panel headlining retainer so that seam is centered at rear of interior side of roof panel opening in root trim panel.

NOTE: Use small indexing notch in roof trim panel as a guide when centering sliding roof panel headlining retainer.

4. Reverse removal procedure.
